Club Board Election! April 22 - Quorum Required!

Board Elections will take place at the next meeting of the Suncoast Optimist Club to be held on Thursday, April 22. A Quorum
is required in order for the elections to take place. Elections will
take place as soon as the Secretary verifies that a quorum is present.
This is to facilitate those that are unable to stay for the program.
The following has been recommended by the elections committee,
nominations will also be accepted from the floor. Due to an error by
the committee, we will accepting at least one nominatation from the floor
to fill a 2 year Directors position. Deb Piner, as current President, she will already be holding a voting position as the Past-President.

The raising of annual club member dues
will be discussed and voted on at this same meeting. Due to the
increase of dues that are paid to Optimist International, the Directors
have recommended raising members dues up an to no more than an
additional $10 per year. This would regular make annual club member dues not
more then $65 (currently $55).
